Early Life in Istanbul

I was born in April 1989, in Istanbul, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I spent most of my childhood in Gayrettepe, a lively central district where I played soccer in parking lots with my friends until sunset.

Education and University Years

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Koç University, one of Turkey’s top private universities. The campus, surrounded by the northern Istanbul forests, offered a peaceful and inspiring environment. It shaped both my academic and personal growth.

The First Step into Business: Saatturk

After graduation, I began managing Saatturk, one of Turkey’s first online watch retailers. At that time, the company sold watches from Turkish distributors without exclusivity rights.
I changed that. I introduced ZIIIRO and 666Barcelona to the Turkish market, securing their exclusive rights for Turkey. Today, Saatturk holds rights for more than ten international brands. That experience was my first major achievement as a business leader.

A New Chapter in Asia

In September 2012, I moved to Beijing, China, to learn Chinese and experience life abroad. I studied at Tsinghua University, one of the country’s most prestigious institutions.
After a year, I relocated to Tainan City, Taiwan, to explore another side of Asian culture. There, I continued my Chinese studies and worked as an International Sales Manager for a stationery machinery manufacturer.

MBA Journey in Shanghai

My next stop was Shanghai, where I pursued an MBA at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). Those two years transformed me. I met lifelong friends, expanded my global outlook, and gained practical leadership experience.

Returning Home to Turkey

After four years in Asia, I returned to Turkey to take a larger role in business. I joined one of the country’s major conglomerates as a Deputy Director. The group operated in office equipment, digital textile, packaging, and watch industries.
During my time there, I focused on building efficient systems and creating value that went beyond financial outcomes. My long-term goal has always been to help build a global organization that generates both economic and social impact.

A New Life in the United States

In 2019, just before the pandemic, I moved to the United States. This was not part of my plan, but the opportunity came at the right moment. I took the leap, ready for another adventure.
Since then, I’ve been living and working in the U.S. as a Program Manager for one of the world’s leading companies. It has been a period of rapid growth and constant learning.
